Review Project Menapay

This time I will review the project called Menapay . Keep in mind all the things I wrote in this article are purely from my own observations. I will give values ranging from 1 to 10, There are several categories that will be my assessment starting from;

1. Concept.

2. Duration.

3. Popularity.

4. Website Details and Whitepaper.

5. project development.

UNDERSTANDING

MenaPay is the first blockchain based payment that is fully supported by gateways in the Middle East and Africa. menaPay replaces the traditional payment method with Cryptocurrency which is fully supported by the blockchain. It provides a secure and transparent payment gateway that activates transactions for every aspect of daily life. The MenaPay project began in November 2017 to serve 420 million people in 18 countries as the main payment for their method. MenaPay will distribute 75% of total revenue and profits between MenaPay holders. This creates a new standard in the crypto industry for participatory returns beyond regular incentives for users and investors.

The MenaPay platform through the introduction of blockchain technology involving the use of smart contracts has included steps and features to directly connect customers with merchants for transactions that are very safe, secure, faster and more transparent. The MenaPay platform intends to launch the APP with an easy-to-use dashboard that will help people in the Middle East and Africa with poor banking skills adapted to the new decentralized payment method. menaPay creates a single currency to be used every day through the blockchain by bringing 100% Islamic and non-bank digital solutions.

The MenaPay team has planned two tokens for the entire MenaPay ecosystem. The first is MenaPay and the other is MenaCash. MenaPay is a participatory token that will be used to raise funds from the ICO and then be used to distribute 75% of revenue and profits to the token holders. To overcome the volatility issue of token prices, the team will also create MenaCash which will be used in daily transactions.

1. Concept (7)

Project with a concept like this is not the first one, because there are already many projects that has the same concept, there are those who had finished their ico and some will do. when viewed from the way it works I see this project has a big business opportunity. Africa and the Middle East are a good market for running this type of business operations, the number of people is one of the factors that makes me think that way. I am interested in learning more details about the functions of both of their tokens, which are MenaPay and MenaCash . I think this is one of the way, so that crypto can be accepted by the general public.

Apart from all that I give 7 points for this category. the reason is that this project had a mainstream concept, in 2018 There are many projects with the same concepts and functions.

2. Duration (7)

From the information i gathered their pre-ICO will start in January 2019 and after that, they will continued with ICO which will end on March 15 2019. Broadly speaking, we can conclude that this project is projected for next year. Menapay private investment project was introduced in August, so it has been introduced for more than 3 months.

I don't want to comment on the overall duration of this project, my only focus is on the ICO time only. If pre-ICO starts in January and ICO is finished in March, it means the project has a duration of about 2 months.

For those running ICO at this time, the duration of 2 months is long. And investors sometimes don't like projects that have an ICO duration like this. despite all that, I am still optimistic because their ICO is still starting a long time ago, so there are still many possibilities that will happen later.

That's why I gave a value of 7 for this category, because the duration of their ICO is quite long and many other investors might don't like this.

3. Popularity (8)

The way I observe whether a project is popular or not is by looking at their telegram group and also the number of visitors from their website the direct way. Many say a popular project, seen from how big their ICO opinion is. But in my opinion that is not enough because the number of website visitors, members of telegram chat groups, and followers of their social media accounts must also be considered. You might be suspicious if a project gets a large ICO income but the number of visitors to the website is very small. It could be that the project developer falsified their income or so on. because of that, I gathered some information, you can check what I found below.

Conclusion : For a newly introduced project with approximately 3 months, their Alexa rank is quite high. The website has a rank below 300 thousand and this is very rare for a new project. with the large number of followers of their social media accounts and official telegram groups, I believe that this project has high popularity. For this reason, I give 8 values for this category, because I can see from the data that I found above.

4. Website and whitepaper details (7.5)

Website : I like the look of their website, even though their website has many supporting widgets, but I don't feel any difficulties when accessing their website. there is a lot of information explaining this project. but the one that i didn't see is about when their ico started or ended. In my opinion, information like this is very important, not only that their ICO is still far.

Whitepaper : their whitepaper has a thickness of 65 pages. And they also have an on-site that summarizes all important information about this project. so I don't think that is all a problem. If investors don't have time to read the whitepaper, they can simply read the Onepage that can be downloaded on the official website of Manapay.

For the Website and Whitepaper categories, I give 7.5, with a note that their website has shortcoming. For those of you who always read the whitepaper when observing the ICO project you might not be aware of this. but for those who sometimes only see from the website it is very fatal.

5. Project Development (7)

More or less this project has been running for 3 months. During that time there were also many developments that this project had. to see the progress of this project you can directly visit their website. but it's a pity they haven't launched the Demo application.

For this this category, I give a value of 7. The reason is because I haven't see any development from Menapay that impressed me.

Conclusion :

A Payment gateway project that is integrated with the Blockchain network. although it's good, but there has been many projects that has the same concept, so I wasn't too surprised by this project. for the duration of the ICO it is still far from the date, so we still have plenty of time to prepare ourselves if we want to join this project.

Overall, this project has the potential to develop and if you see the popularity of this project, it is likely that there will be many people who will buy their tokens later.
